About Me

About Me

From a young age, Elliott Tapia-Kwan has had a strong curiosity about the world around him and an excitable love for learning.

In 2015, he graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor's degree in sociology and gender studies. He then went on to complete his Master's degree in sociology at the University of South Florida. For his Master's thesis project, Elliott analyzed the media representation of gender, sexualities, race and ethnicity, and intersectionality in the critically acclaimed video game The Last Of Us.

After graduation, Elliott worked with the State Attorney's office as a clerical specialist and felony legal assistant, before moving on to a media marketing company and freelance editing.

In his spare time, Elliott enjoys reading, gaming, and creating art.
